I crashed and burned. I know what it’s like to look healthy on the outside but feel miserable and desperate on the inside. I questioned myself for years, believing there must be something wrong with me. Why can't I be more upbeat? Why can't I push through obstacles like everyone else? But there wasn't something wrong with me as a person- there was an imbalance in my body! Over the course of 10 years, I’ve learned what works and what doesn’t when it comes to supporting adrenal health and managing the effects of a demanding life. I found my spark again and I know you can, too. My Background I've combined over a decade of yoga teaching with my knowledge of nutrition, holistic health, and herbs to create a well-rounded approach to healing. This is the complaint I hear most often- and the reason I want to work with you! Most doctors are not well equipped to educate you on wellness practices. That's where I come in. If you've received normal test results but you feel miserable, we'll address the foundations of a healthy lifestyle and eliminate the most common offenders that cause inflammation and drain your energy. I believe in taking a proactive and holistic approach rather than waiting for the situation to get worse.
What if I have a diagnosis from my doctor or a chronic condition?
Some conditions like thyroid dysfunction, PCOS, perimenopause and other imbalances may be the underlying cause of your burnout. While holistic health practices are not intended to cure, treat or prevent any disease, you WILL build a solid foundation for a healthy lifestyle by working through my program. Proper nutrition, movement, sleep and stress management impact your body's ability to heal and rebalance. If you have a diagnosis, my goal is to address your body's specific needs and help you implement healthier habits.
For some, burnout is the result of a chronic health condition. You may not be able to eliminate the condition, but there are two things you DO have some control over: the frequency/severity and the way you relate to it. I have so much respect for each individual's uniqueness when it comes to diet and nutrition. Not to mention the commitment required to be vegetarian/vegan. However, I've found that depleted bodies recover and sustain energy better with sources of animal protein, at least during the initial healing phase of my program. If you are unable/unwilling to add meat/fish into your diet, I'm not the best practitioner for you.
